Welcome to the Building Online Collaborative Environments Course Wiki!
Wikis allow people to come together on the Web and create all types of material collaboratively and cooperatively. They are similar to blogs in that one can publish content online. While blogs are written by one person, wikis are created by a group of individuals. Everyone may contribute material and work together to build the site.
There are many uses for wikis in education and business. Wikis can provide a place where teachers can collaborate and share ideas. Students in different locations may use them to build projects and share research information. The possibilities and uses are many. Collaboration is possible without the limits of time or location.
This wiki will be used to collaborate with your classmates and work together in your small groups.
All individual Learning Activity Pages can be found in navigation menu on the left.
7-D-1 and 7-D-2: Teaching Safe Behavior and Permission Letter
Group Learning Activities 4-C-1, 5-D-1, 6-A-1, and 7-A-2 are to be completed as a small group. You will find the pages for these activities under your group's workspace which can be accessed from the navigation menu on the left.
Important note about wikis: If you are editing a wiki at the same time as one of your group members, it is possible to overwrite their work. To avoid this save your work often and refresh your browser view.
